The 3-day Sahara Desert tour begins with an early pick-up from the airport or your accommodation in Fes. We then drive south through Imouzzer to Ifrane, known for its cool temperatures, snow, and alpine-style houses—earning it the nickname the Switzerland of Morocco.
Next, we visit the cedar forests, home to the Barbary macaques. Feel free to feed these playful monkeys while exploring the forest. We then continue to Midelt for lunch before heading toward the Sahara Desert, passing through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and along the scenic Ziz River.
In the afternoon, we arrive at the Merzouga dunes. Here, you will switch to camel rides and cross the sandy desert. A stop is made atop a high dune to watch the magical sunset.
